Get under the skin of what makes a strong dissertation
Dissertations are, on many courses, the toughest piece of work to be faced but worth the most in terms of marks and credits.
In this interactive session, we will explore the role of each of the parts (chapters) of a dissertation, both in terms of how each is different and how they need to relate and 'talk' to the others around them. The objective of the session is to help students to feel more confident in the skills which allow them to pull the parts of a dissertation together into a coherent whole.
Whilst we cannot cover individual dissertation content (as this must be discussed with the supervisor) the aim is to help you feel better about the process of dissertation writing, and ask any questions you have on this.
