Distillery Tours - 2017

Come and enjoy a fun and informative tour of the Winchester Distillery - Hampshire's first artisan distillery.

Nestled amongst the charming watercress beds of Old Alresford you will have the rare opportunity to go behind the scenes with our master distiller who will share with you the science and artistry required to create our premium spirits.

Tours are very limited to only 20 people, so you can relax and have your questions answered by one of Hampshire's most experienced distillers, and then indulge yourselves with a free tasting of all our available spirits at the end of the session.

We think you'll agree that this is an event not to be sniffed at.

FAQs

How do we find the distillery?

The distillery is based in the Watercress Company offices in Old Alresford, a few miles outside Winchester.

From Alresford head down Broad Street and follow the B3046 out of town past the Globe pub and straight on into Old Alresford. As you go down the hill and enter the village take the left turn by the playground then turn left again at the end of the road to enter the Watercress Company site.

The distillery is the last unit in the building. Please park around the back of the building and enter the last white door where you see our logo.

When should we arrive?

Please don't plan to arrive any more than 15 minutes before the start time of the event.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

All visitors must be over the age of 18 to enter the distillery. If you're fortunate enough to look under age then please bring along some photo ID showing your date of birth - you will be asked for it.

How long will the event last?

The event will last approximately 60 minutes. You will have plenty of time to get any pressing questions answered by the master distiller and to purchase our unique spirits on the way out.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring a printed copy of your ticket to the event or have your ticket ready on your smartphone to show at the door.

Is my registration/ticket transferable?

We are unable to offer transfers or exchanges on the tickets once purchased.

What is your refund policy?

Bookings may be cancelled and refunded, subject to a cancellation fee of £3.50 per ticket, up to 1 week prior to the event. Bookings cancelled within 1 week of the event are non-refundable.

We require minimum numbers to run this event. In the unlikely event that we are unable to run this event we will endeavour to contact you at least 24 hours in advance to arrange a full refund.
