The Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, UCLan, is pleased to welcome our international distinguished collaborator, Professor Dominique Cadilhac, Monash University, Australia on Tuesday 4th June 2019.

Professor Cadilhac will discuss the aspects of economic evaluation in health, the concept of benefit and more specifically determining the costs of stroke and stroke care.

This event is open to all and students and clinicians are particularly welcomed.

Registration for this event is essential and free of charge.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided for all prior to the seminar (please specify any dietary requirements when registering through Eventbrite).

Speaker Profile:

Professor Cadilhac is the Head of the Translational Public Health Research Division at the Stroke and Ageing Research Group, Monash University. Professor Cadilhac is an expert in public health research related to stroke and cardiovascular disease, particularly in the areas of health service delivery models, economic evaluation, program evaluation and chronic disease prevention.

She has worked directly with non-government organisations and government to develop policy for chronic disease prevention in Australia. She has a clinical background in nursing, MPH and PhD.
