Event description

Description

Open to attendees of the LGA Annual Conference and Exhibition only

ENGIE will be running a series of bite size sessions focused on how you can deliver sustainable growth for your communities at Stand A31.

District Energy is widely recognised as a sustainable, cost-effective solution to the provision of heating, cooling and power. It enables a wide range of low carbon, low cost heat and cooling sources to be used to serve both new and existing buildings and residential properties through insulated pipe networks around cities. In recognition of these benefits, increased use of District Energy coupled with Combined Heat and Power (CHP) is a cornerstone of the Government’s strategy for reducing carbon emissions in urban areas. Find out how ENGIE is powering cities around the UK with its District Energy schemes and see first hand how these schemes work on a short tour of one of the Birmingham energy centres.

Please note that our learning zone is free and open only to delegates already attending the LGA Conference and Exhibition. Registration for the learning zone does not include entry into the conference or exhibition.
