Event description

Description

Cabaret Call Out! Put down the knitting, the book and the broom and come to the cabaret…

Dive, Luminate & LGBT Age are on the lookout for participants to take part in a series of weekly cabaret performance workshops building towards a performance event for LGBT History Month in February 2017. This is being supported by the Baring Foundation.

The workshops are open to all over 50s and who identify as LGBT+ who can travel to central Glasgow once a week. All talents and abilities are most welcome and non-performers are also sought to help devise and run the show.

Participants will work together, with the help of artists Miss Annabel Sings and Philippa Clark, to devise creative ways to tell personal and historical stories and create a cabaret show for LGBT History Month in the process.

So whether you’re a budding starlet, a lapsed Liza Minnelli or have never set foot on stage before, come and find out more at the introductory session on 22 October.

Because old chum, life is a cabaret.
