Event description
Diversity drives innovation but is rarely representative and often absent. Join the CETC as we discuss the opportunities driven by Diversity

About this event

The CETC is pleased to host our first post-lockdown seminar: Diversity in Science.

This seminar seeks to understand and challenge the nature of diversity in science and technology in the UK today.

The audience will have the opportunity to explore this topic with thought leaders from the academic, commercial and professional spheres.

Our speakers will each present individually before we move to an interactive panel discussion.

The seminar will be followed by networking, also at the Lab.

The Panel:

Dr Ghina Halabi - The Judge Business School. Ghina is an astro-physicist, the founder of She Speaks Science, and the Programme Manager for the Judge Business School's EnterpriseTech programmes.

Dr Jason Mellad - Start Codon. Jason is a bioscience entrepreneur and the co-founder of Start Codon, a Cambridge-based life sciences accelerator.

The Cambridge Enterprise and Technology Club is a longstanding networking organisation aiming to facilitate the flow of ideas between academia, industry and the professions. Our seminars are interactive, free to attend, content-heavy and bracketed by the opportunity to network with attendees from across the Cambridge ecosystem.
