Event description
Join us for an informative webinar on how we're trying to encourage anyone from any background to learn to code & pursue tech opportunities.

About this event

Anyone can learn to code. Regardless of age, experience or background.

This free webinar is our way of showing you that there is demand in technology for people like you – whoever you are. We want to encourage people from all backgrounds to explore the opportunities available to them in the tech industry. And that starts with learning to code…

Want to transform your career options, future-proof your skill set, and earn an average of 44% more per year?

We’ll train you, using client feedback to ensure our course syllabus is packed with relevant, in-demand skills. You’ll graduate as a job-ready Developer, and we’ll even help you find a job, thanks to our partnership with global tech talent providers, Opus Recruitment Solutions.

We’ll be discussing the lack of diversity in tech and why it matters so much. Global companies are starting to see the value of diversity more and more, and are beginning to recruit from further afield due to the pandemic. That means there are roles to fill, and even more space, and demand, for diversity. We’ll be talking to guest speakers from the industry, hear from _nology graduates who’ve gone on to launch thriving tech careers, and give you an insight into what life is like on the _nology Self-Paced Developer Course, and the 12-Week (Full-time) Software Developer course.

Who will be speaking?

Farsheen Shiyas - Admissions Manager for _nology: Farsheen will share insights about the importance of diversity within the sector, and what we’re doing to ensure our courses as are accessible as possible.

Guest speaker from the tech industry (TBC): Our guest speaker will go into detail about why diversity in tech so in demand. They’ll also talk about the opportunities you can explore after graduating from the _nology course.

Bex Fennelly, _nology course graduate turned Software Coach: Before joining _nology, Bex was a dancer and actress who had no coding skills. She is now working remotely as a Software Development Coach at _nology.

The event will be taking place via Zoom - you will receive the link once you register.
