Event description

Description

The EU referendum of 2016, and the 2017 General Election, have left our country and our communities divided. Whatever the next steps that we look to take, most people agree that should be looking to take them together. For this to happen, people from all sides need to be able to listen and understand why these issues matter to others.

You are invited to join a facilitated discussion on Brexit and how we bring communities back together again. Ample refreshments will be provided!

The event aims to find out what people think about these important subjects, and to encourage shared discussion about their views. There are no “right” or “wrong” views.

An independent professional facilitator will run the meeting looking to ensure all views are heard and respected.

This event is funded through the Office of the MEP Molly Scott Cato (Green Party for the South West). Molly is one of 6 MEPs from different political parties elected in 2014 to represent SW England at the European Parliament.

The event aims to gather and share information about the range of people’s views, not to promote the opinions of any particular politician or position.

Please do come – you will be sincerely welcomed! Please note it is important that you book in advance, so we can supply enough refreshments etc. Thank you!
