Diwali - Festival of Lights

Diwali, known as the Festival of Lights, celebrates victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.
Join us for an immersive bhakti experience - a whole day of workshops ending with kirtan.
10.30am The Ramayana is a one of India's greatest epics. We'll start the day with storytelling by Shyamananda, our senior resident monk at the Radha Krishna Temple.
11.30am Creative workshop with Alvin, our art graduate. We'll be painnt clay lamps as an offering of love to Rama and Sita.
12.30pm Vegan lunch cooked by Govinda's restuarant.
2pm Wisdom workshop. How are the stories and the wisdom in the great epic Ramayana relevant to us today in contemporary society. Shyamanda will fascilitate a workshop to help us explore.
3pm Kirtan by Jahnavi Harrison.
5pm Tea and cake.
