Description

DJ workshops run by Deaf and Hard of Hearing DJs.

Learn the basics of how to mix tunes, using wearable haptic technology, SUBPAC. Feel the beats and experience the vibrations that the DJs feel, when using this technology to enhance their performance on the decks. Anyone, of any hearing ability, is welcome to take part in these workshops.

The workshops are facilitated and supported by Deaf and Hard of Hearing DJs. Full BSL and spoken English can be accessed. There will be loud noises and flashing lights.

Suitable for ages 10+.

One ticket includes one personal assistant.

Part of Liberty –The Mayor of London’s free festival celebrating the work of Deaf and disabled artists, presented in partnership with Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019.

Deaf Rave present visual and captvating club events featuring d/Deaf performers for audiences of all hearing abilities. They will be presenting a Deaf Rave club event at Liberty on Saturday 23 November, 6pm-10pm.
