DJUGL - Django User Group London

After a successful 2017 and a brilliant event in January, Djugl is back for its second instalment of the year. This time we are teaming up with the guys and gals at Octopus Labs in Chancery Lane for what hopes to be another great evening.

There will still be the usual pizza and beer provided by Austin Fraser while everyone catches up before the Lightning talks at around 8 pm.

Lightning Talks:

Each talk be 5-10 minutes long

A Q&A will take place after each talk

Speakers:

Silvian Dragan

Speaking on "Dockeriszing Django Applications"

"Silvian is a software engineer and computer science graduate from NUI Maynooth University Ireland. Silvian has worked with BT for 5 years and with Ten Group for the past year on their new digital platform for lifestyle services. He’s passionate about Python, Django and has been using it for the past few years both commercially and for personal and open source projects.

Silvian is now working with Glint a Fintech company located in Liverpool Street which specialises in currency trading and transaction with Gold. He works with Django and micro services on the API backend and transaction processing system."
