Whether you've been to a DMLab event before or not, everyone is welcome at our monthly inclusive music-making space.
What to expect
DMLab is back in Hackspace Manchester for another session of tinkering, collaboration, and hands-on prototyping.
This month we'll be looking at building simple bluetooth midi controllers with knobs, buttons, and switches, using ESP32 micro-computers.
Anyone is welcome to bring along their own things to tinker with, or start new projects in the session. We will provide Arduinos, ESP32s, sensors, wires, and as usual, plenty of biscuits.
We'll also be continuing to help one of our participants, Sam, customise and develop his RockBand MIDI guitar.
These sessions are open to any level of experience, musicians and non-musicians, Disabled and non-Disabled people.
It will be an informal vibe but we are as always very happy for people to bring along projects for show and tell. Please send us a message beforehand if you would like us to set aside some time!
First time at DMLab North-West?
No problem! New members are always welcome. Please drop us an email at dmlabnw@drakemusic.org to register.
