Want to learn key knowledge and skills needed for a sustainable future? PECT are delivering free training courses to Peterborough residents as part of the BLUEPRINT to a Circular Economy project.

The Circular Economy is a term to describe a change in the way we produce and consume materials, which allows us to reduce waste and our impact on the environment.

The circular economy moves away from wasteful single-use plastics and fast fashion. Instead, it focuses on reuse, repair and recycling.

This is an exciting opportunity for the job market as return, repair and recycling services will become vital and will provide hundreds of new jobs across the country.

Whether you are looking to enhance your CV or just have an interest in sustainability and want to learn new skills, this free training course is a great opportunity to do just that.

Join us on Wednesday 16th March from 12.00 - 2.00pm at Westraven Community Garden, Hartwell Way, Westwood, Peterborough, PE3 7LF.

All you will need is yourself and something to take notes with. There will be a small range of refreshments, but please feel free to bring your own lunch (and water bottle).
