Do You Believe In Life After Loss? An RSA LGBTQIA+ Network Conversation
Overview
For anyone who has experienced loss or is currently navigating its impact, Andrew hopes this book offers meaningful insight and encouragement.
This collection of queer experiences, centred on loss, renewal and resilience, explores the many dimensions of change and challenge. In keeping with the RSA’s commitment to unlocking human potential and strengthening the fabric of society, it considers how queer perspectives can help individuals adapt, reconnect and rebuild. It highlights not only the weight of loss, but also the capacity for growth, agency and collective wellbeing as healing begins.
Addressing loss in its varied forms: bereavement, the end of relationships, the erosion of community, and the loss of safety or identity, the book reflects on how creativity, solidarity and queer resilience can guide people forward. It ultimately invites readers to consider a vital question: in the spirit of the RSA’s belief in renewal and possibility, what new life might emerge after loss?
Curated by Andrew Flewitt and with contributions from psychotherapist Silva Neves throughout, the book features interviews with: Nathaniel J. Hall - Zachary Tucker - Euan - Jamie Windust - Juno Roche - Vaneet Mehta - Luciana Cousin - Mendez - Theo Parsonson
