Description

Do you need to get accelerated twice? - IMAGINE IF! By Innovation Forum Barcelona

These days, there is an ever-increasing number of accelerator programs out there for entrepreneurs. Some of them are free, some of them charge in equity. Some are local, some international. Some are very specific, others are sector-agnostic. Which one is best? How to choose? Is it even worth it to be accelerated at all? What if I've been accelerated already, should I forget about all that?

These are only some of the questions entrepreneurs starting up may have about accelerators. In this event, Innovation Forum (organiser of the Imagine IF! accelerator) we will try to address them with hands-on experiences shared by entrepreneurs and mentors.

The event will begin with a brief presentation on the Innovation Forum followed by a panel of entrepreneurs with experience in national and international acceleration programs, who will share their vision on the issue.

But what is it like, exactly, to be in an accelerator? Joanna Parlinska, mentor at the Imagina IF! accelerator will give us a glimpse into what's to be found in the program with a lively workshop on Design Thinking.

As usual, we will finish the event with a networking session for you to meet & greet other entrepreneurs and scientists in the Barcelona ecosystem.

Venue: Movistar Centre
