Docklands History Walk
Various dates and times.
The Walks
The walks, run by Canal & River Trust, will be led by walk leaders who are also full of interesting information about the local area. The short circular walk will start and finish at the Entrance to Museum London Docklands, No. 1 Warehouse, West India Quay, London E14 4AL. We will be looking at the history including how it's related to the transatlantic slave trade.
The Walk Leader is a qualified historian with a huge amount of knowledge and experience.
This walk covers a short distance with stops at various points along the walk where the walk leader will share information related to the Docklands including the transatlantic slave trade. Toilets are available at the beginning and end of the walk in the Museum of London Docklands. We also encourage you to look around and visit the free exhibitions.
The great thing about walking is that you do not need any fancy equipment. Please just wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket if raining.
