About this event
UniMed Doctor for a Day
What is Doctor for a Day?
Work experience is arguably the most crucial part of the medicine application process – without any it is impossible to secure a university offer. Medical work experience is getting more and more difficult to obtain with tightening hospital and GP restrictions, so we offer GCSE and A-Level students the opportunity to be a UniMed Doctor for a Day and make their UCAS application a success.
Learn real clinical and patient care skills which you can use in your medicine personal statement and interviews to demonstrate a commitment to medicine, an understanding of NHS work experience issues, scientific knowledge and a realistic grasp of what a career in medicine entails.
**This course has been moved online due to COVID-19 and we have incorporated some brand new and exciting skill stations to develop crucial medical skills. Virtual work experience is accepted by all UK medical schools as valuable and real experience**
