Making Impact

In a climate where increasing value is being placed on the ability to demonstrate the impact of our research, it is crucial for all researchers to consider this is relation to their own work. Many funding bodies now require thorough details of potential research impact, and assessment of impact will form a significant part of the Research Excellence Framework in 2021.

This session will explore:

- What 'impact' is, and why it is important

- Whether you are already creating an impact with your research

- How you can demonstrate impact

- How you can increase the impact of your research
