Every summer the Cambridge Biosciences DTP holds an annual symposium allowing students to showcase their research, hear about other research happening in the university and beyond, and network with industry representatives.

Having held the event online for the past two years, we are excited to announce the return to an in person event. The event will take place on the 25th of July in Robinson College.

With registration opening at 8:30am, and a drinks and canapes closing party ending at 19:30.

The symposium is excited to offer presentations from keynote speakers in academia, as well as industry representatives. Additionally, the opportunity for students to present their research as a talk or as a poster. Prizes for best talk and best poster will be awarded.

The event will serve lunch as well as drinks and canapés in the evening, allowing participants to network with the industry representatives as well as providing the opportunity for discussion with invited speakers.

We are pleased to announce that our three academic speakers will be Sir Jim Smith, Director of Science at the Wellcome Trust and Senior Group Leader at the Francis Crick Institute, Professor Giovanna Mallucci, Principal Investigator of Altos Labs, Cambridge Institute, Dr Simon Cook, Institute Director of the Babraham Institute.
