DOD Lecture Series: Scots Baronial meets the New York Five

Architect Crichton Wood will discuss the key concepts of Scots baronial architecture used in the work of American Architect and theorist, Louis Kahn, including expressive relationships between form and function, and geometric plan transformations. Wood will also discuss the impact of Kahn’s use of Baronial architecture on other American architects of the 20th Century, showing how some of these concepts can be used to develop a modern "Scots," architecture.
