Does the UK Music Festival Industry have a Problem with Diversity?
Event Information
About this event
Without Exception is a project created by UK music festival industry professionals who are committed to making the industry a more diverse, inclusive and equal place to work. More information about who we are and what we are doing can be found on our website.
To launch the project, we are hosting an online facilitated discussion on Zoom. This event will be an opportunity to:
- Connect with people and organisations already working on this issue
- Help to build a clearer picture of the challenges being faced in our industry
- Be part of an open conversation that is long overdue.
The event is open to anyone interested in the issue of diversity and equality in the UK music festival industry workforce and will focus on:
- Sharing personal experiences and thoughts regarding diversity, equality and inclusion in the UK music festival industry workforce
- Considering the barriers that exist to creating a diverse workforce
- Sharing ideas on what changes need to happen in our industry
- Identifying who needs to be involved in this work.
We want as many people as possible to be involved in this conversation and are prepared to host a number of these discussions to meet demand, so please share these details with any individuals or organisations who you think would be interested in attending.
We appreciate that Zoom discussions are a format that doesn't work for everyone and are actively looking at various ways we can create space for people to take an active part in this conversation. We welcome everyone’s input into this work, so if you have any feedback or suggestions, or would like to find out more about the project, please contact us by emailing info@withoutexception.org.uk.
We hope you’ll join us.
Without Exception.
