Silver Open Expedition : Friday 2nd to Tuesday 6th April 2021

We offer an open silver package which allows you to complete your Practice and Qualifying Expedition for the silver award in 5 days. This is ideal if you don’t have a group to do your expedition with or can’t make your schools dates. We offer training based in Basildon, Essex, followed by a 5 day expedition.

Dates:- You are paying for:-

Tuesday 23rd March- Expedition reacap (5 day expedition people) 6.30pm till 8pm

Expedition to Northdowns: 2nd-6th April 2021

Pre-expedition information pack given out in Training.

Equipment lists

Camping fees for the practice expedition or qualifying expedition.

Free use of group equipment. Tents, Trangia stoves, maps, compass and fuel.

Comprehensive training covering all aspects of the DofE syllabus.

Supervision throughout the expedition.

Accredited Assessors for the qualifying expedition

Consent form :-

After booking on and paying for your expedition you MUST send us a consent form 6 weeks before the event. We can not take young people without a consent form. Please email it over to info@mudandmaps.co.uk. Failure to attend the Training/ Route planning session will result in you not being able to attend the expedition.
