    What you can expect from attending

    I envisage by the end of this training session you will have a greater understanding of:
  • Understand types of domestic abuse, coercive control and alienating behaviours.
  • Prepare for safety plan session.
  • Assessing of risk, implementing and reviewing a safety plan.
  • Dealing with a disclosure or any safeguarding concerns.
  • Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference. (MARAC)
  • Encourage clients autonomy.
  • Who, when and how to report on risks and concerns.
  • Identify and connect client's with the right resources.



    About the facilitator

Donna-Maria Bradley previously founded La Dolce Vita Project, a non-gender domestic abuse therapeutic service, in the city of Derry/Londonderry. (January 2015 to 31 December 2023).

Donna-Maria is the founder of My Family Matters Foundation Ltd, an early intervention service for separating families. Opened January 2024, where she currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer. She was previously a Board of Director with The Change for Children UK.

Donna-Maria has gained 11 years’ experience working with a diverse range of clients. Has a strong educational background, with a multitude of experience, in setting up, managing, governance, drafting policies, and training of staff in both a charity and company business setting.

Donna- Maria is a MBACP (Accredited) therapist. Specialising in family separation issues to include domestic abuse, parental alienation, coercive control. She is a member of the Parental Alienation Study Group (PASG). Holds a PgCert in Parental Alienation Studies. QQI award in mediation skills.

Various other training includes trauma informed practice, domestic abuse and risk management, sexual abuse, child protection & safeguarding, risk management, anxiety, disorders & phobias, suicide risk management, project management, train the trainer, training needs analysis and presenting skills.

Donna-Maria also held the position of Editor and Chief of Parental Alienation International Newsletter.

Donna-Maria has delivered training since 2016, locally, regionally and internationally.
