About this event
This course will be delivered via Zoom on 24th May 2022 09:00-12:30. You will need to be able to access Zoom via your work or personal device to complete this course.
Please read through course descriptions prior to booking to ensure your professional experience, responsibility and previous training will support the level of learning of each session.
All sessions are free of charge. (A £25 late cancellation fees does apply).
Level 1: An introduction to domestic abuse and sexual violence for those who have had no or little, previous training or previous professional experience in domestic abuse and sexual violence. This is a level 1 course and is designed for people who work indirectly with people affected by domestic abuse or as an introduction to our level 2.
Covered within this half day course is an introduction to:
• Domestic abuse and sexual violence including CSE
• The impact that abuse has on victims and to be able to recognise the signs and indicators
• Stalking, harassment and honour based abuse
• Information Sharing
• How to respond appropriately to victims including a pathway for risk assessment
At the foundation of all DASV training is an understanding and awareness of controlling and coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship.

Failure to do so will result in a £25.00 per person charge.
