Domestic Abuse and Substance Misuse Training

About the session:

Substance misuse does not cause domestic abuse, however if perpetrators and / or survivors are using substances, this can significantly increase the risk of serious harm. Staying Put are delivering a one-hour, online training session to highlight this issue.

Aim:

To increase your awareness of domestic abuse and substance misuse

Objectives:

- Understanding the relationship between domestic abuse and substance misuse

- Exploring how substance misuse increases risks in domestic abuse

- Understanding the parallel challenges of leaving an abusive relationship and quitting substance misuse

This training is open to any professional working within the Bradford District who supports individuals or families.
