DOMESTIC ABUSE AWARENESS SESSION

WHAT IS THE SESSION ABOUT?

This informative 2hr online session aims to raise awareness about what domestic abuse is, how you can recognise it, and how you can appropriately support those who are experiencing domestic abuse.

WHO CAN ATTEND THE SESSION?

* Anyone in a challenging relationship who is interested in identifying abusive and non-abusive behaviours

* Faith communities

* Anyone working with families

* Faith or Religious leaders

* Anyone working in a pastoral role

* Anyone working with women's groups or organisations

DATE: Sat 2 October 2021, 10am-12pm via Zoom (log in to Zoom by 9:50am)

This session is open to male and female attendees. The session is led by two trained domestic abuse support group facilitators, Renay Taylor and Veronica Nondabula.

Organiser DAFaithAction

Organiser of Domestic Abuse Awareness for Faith Communities

DAFaithAction facilitators Renay Taylor and Veronica Nondabula are passionate about seeing families and women empowered to live healthy, whole lives where the dignity and value of individuals is recognised, supported and celebrated.

Renay Taylor is a qualified nurse and midwife, an international transformational coach and leadership trainer, and a trained domestic abuse support group trainer. She is Christian, leads the women’s ministry at her local church, and also leads an international professional women's network.

Veronica Nondabula is a qualified social worker, a published author of a book on domestic abuse and a trained domestic abuse support group trainer. She is Christian, and has previously pioneered church plants as a church leader.
