Tender exists to end domestic abuse and sexual violence:
- Working with children and young adults to prevent them from becoming either victims or perpetrators of domestic abuse in the future.
- Raising the issue's profile and creating a step change in attitude and tolerance of domestic abuse and sexual violence, from direct work in schools to training and awareness-building for professionals supporting children and young people.
All Tender's trainers have a Level 3 Domestic Abuse Training qualification and use creative, engaging methods to deliver domestic abuse prevention training nationally.
This training's aims are:
- To improve participants' knowledge of domestic abuse and sexual violence
- To improve skills to identify, respond to and prevent unhealthy relationships in young people’s lives
- And to provide participants with tangible signposting and disclosure response skills to support pre-existing safeguarding knowledge
This session is focused on prevention and culture, not intervention.
