Older victims are often invisible from domestic abuse services. Older people are at an increased risk of experiencing abuse from family members and are most likely to experience financial abuse. This CPD accredited course will give learners an insight into the prevalence and distinct nature of domestic abuse affecting older people. The course will increase learners confidence in recognise the signs of domestic abuse affecting older people and respond appropriately, supporting those affected on their journey to safety and recovery.
