Who is it for?
Ideally suited to anyone wanting to know more about the effects of domestic abuse on people who identify as LGBTQ+. People from this group are diverse, they certainly do not form one homogenous group and their experiences of abuse will not all be the same. That said, there are some specific differences in the ways abuse is perpetrated against victim/survivors from this community compared to others. If you work with people from this community or would like to broaden your knowledge about how abuse differs across different groups, this training is suitable for you. Staff from frontline services in health and social care, third and voluntary sectors may also benefit from this training.
