-The impact Domestic abuse has on Children

-Intersectionality

-Johnsons Typology

-The Domestic Abuse Act

Respond, this covers:

- How and when and what questions we should be asked.

-immediate safeguarding of the victim.

Risk, this covers:

- DASH, what is a DASH and how to complete one.

- What is considered a High Risk factor

-MARAC

- Coercive control within a family unit

-What questions can be directed towards a perpetrator

-Safety planning

Record, this covers:

-How to record information and why this is so important within domestic abuse.

Refer, this covers:

- Who can support victims of domestic abuse and how to refer to these services

- The care Act 2014

- The Children’s Act 1989.

The course also covers vicarious trauma and how to look after ourselves as professionals.
