Domestic and Sexual Abuse in the BME Communities

A training day aimed at local practioners working with people that may have experienced domestic abuse.
The Learning outcomes are:
- To identify and increase understanding of domestic abuse in the BME communities, including Honour Based Violence, forced marriage and FGM.
- To increase understanding of immigration status and recourse to public funding in relation to domestic abuse
- To increase understanding of how to protect victims of Honour based violence, Forced Marriage, FGM & victims that have no recourse to public funds.
- To increase understanding of the dynamics of abusive relationships between victims of honour based violence, forced marriage, FGM and their families.
