OPEN DAY 2024 – POSTPONED
Regrettably, we'll be postponing our planned open day in April.
We're doing this so that we can continue to focus on our current cohort achieving the
best outcomes and development opportunities at the end of their apprenticeship
programme.
Unfortunately though, this affects our placement capacity for our future apprentices
and this in turn, affects our cohort capacity going forward. Colleges have to ensure a
minimum of 12 apprentices per cohort to make the programme commercially viable.
While we understand this is disappointing, we know that this is the right step to take
and has enabled us to employ our current (26) apprentices and guarantee them full-
time employment at the end of their programme.
We're extremely proud of our achievements over the last 18 months. Our two Open
Days have provided hundreds of local people with positive outcomes, development
opportunities, whilst providing long term career opportunities and employment for all
our current apprentices.
It's been an extremely difficult decision to make, and we wholeheartedly hope that our
continued efforts to work with local authorities, neighbouring colleges and local
businesses helps us to secure the minimum college cohort numbers and commit to
the next cohort intake and beyond.
