Pitlochry Dam Power Station, was built between 1947 and 1951, and was the last phase of the Tummel Hydro Electricity Scheme, which brought electricity to the Highlands.
Visitors will get an exclusive look inside Pitlochry Dam Power Station and will learn how it generates electricity. They will also get access into SSE's Corporate Archive and will be able to explore a selection of the artefacts that we hold. In addition, visitors will learn about the journey Salmon make through the Fish Ladder.

Hour long guided tours departing at 10am, 11am, 12 noon, and 1pm.
Booking essential (maximum 30 places per tour)
No parking on site. Limited mobility access to the Corporate Archive and across the Dam. No dogs, except assistance dogs. Relevant safety equipment will be provided on the day.
