Step into the world of rocks and landscapes at St. Cyrus National Nature Reserve as part of Aberdeenshire's Open Days on the 20-21st September. Stories of Stone offer a chance to explore the fascinating geological history of the St. Cyrus coast. A professional geologist will be available to answer your questions and share insights into the dramatic cliffs and vast beach, shaped over millennia by powerful natural forces. You can also explore a hands-on display of local rocks, and kids can get involved with engaging geology-themed activities. It's an opportunity for all ages to discover the stories hidden in the stones and to appreciate the unique geological features that make St. Cyrus such a special place.
