Saturday, June 23rd, 12 noon: mass demonstration in London.
This joint event brings together all leading pro-EU organisations, who are asking for a ‘People’s Vote’ on the final Brexit deal.
Dear all,
It's finally here, next week we march on Parliament for a People's Vote! It is important, now more than ever, to show the country and the world that we continue to fight for our place in the EU; to help lead it from within rather than leave!
The details for this momentous day are as follows
****NOTE THE IMPORTANT CHANGE TO BOURNEMOUTH PICK UP POINT***
Leaving Dorset
Depart 7.45am POOLE: National Express stop at Poole coach station (next to the Dolphin Centre)
Depart 8.00am BOURNEMOUTH: NCP Carp Park on Terrace Road, Bournemouth BH2 5NN (see pics below) It's up the hill from the Hilton Hotel by the bus stop and NCP Car Park.
Depart 8.15am RINGWOOD: Meeting House Lane Bus stop just outside Sainsbury's (The Furlong Car Park)
DEPART 8.45am SOUTHAMPTON PARKWAY: Wide Lane opposite the Southampton's Parkway official Car Park
We are holding a raffle on the coach so bring some money to be in with the chance of winning some excellent prizes!
Arrive at Park Lane approx 11.30am where we will join the Stop Brexit column at the Wellington Arch side of Green Park (tba)
Leaving London
Depart 5.30-6pm (TBC) from Parliament Sqaure
Please meet at at 5.15pm by the Abraham Lincoln Statue which is situated on the green where people will gather to listen to speakers. But we will get this confirmed with the driver on the day.
Excelsior is the bus company. Please note bus times are EXACT DEPARTURE times. We cannot wait for people so please give yourself plenty of time to get to your pick up point.
There is a toilet on the bus. Good to know! :-)
I suggest we take a group photo when we get to our drop off location so no running off allowed! :-)
Everyone is obviously free to do what they want once we arrive although we do recommend staying together as a large group. Coach leaders will provide their mobile phone contact numbers to you on the coach. There is always the possibility we get split up en route so get yourself to our meet up point at the end of the day.
If you are getting on the bus at a different location from the one entered online, please drop me a quick e-mail so I can get organised and get my register in order. Thank you!
