Dorset Team

The Dorset Team is a community of local makers, artisans, and small business owners, originally formed as part of the Etsy platform. Etsy refers to its seller communities as "teams," and the Dorset Team was created to bring together Etsy sellers from Dorset and the surrounding areas. Over the years, the team has evolved, and while many members still sell on Etsy, it now also includes non-Etsy sellers, expanding its reach to a wider range of creatives and businesses.

The Dorset Team provides a supportive space where makers can connect, share resources, and collaborate. It also organises craft fairs and events across Dorset, showcasing the work of local artisans and offering the public a chance to buy unique, handmade products directly from the makers. The team is run by Rachel from The Dorothy Days, who is a knitwear designer and long-time Etsy seller. Through its events and online community, the Dorset Team plays a key role in promoting local creativity and fostering a vibrant maker community in Dorset.
