Join us on Thursday 16th October, 17:00 - 19:00 for the launch and private view of our new exhibition 'In Full Bloom'

Featuring dot-art artists Hilary Dron, Frank Leung and Madeleine Pires.

In Full Bloom brings together works by three dot-art artists to explore the beauty and emotional resonance of flowers. Observations of changing seasons are paired with abundant wild meadows, while bright, lively florals and foliage speak to us through poetry.

Frank Leung achieves a balance between the realistic and the romantic, depicting details with delicate brushstrokes in watercolour. The result is a poetic expression of the rhythm of the seasons across two series. Each work gently conveys the flow of energy through the year, connected subtly by colour.

Hilary Dron’s paintings capture the essence of flowers through dynamic compositions. Inspiration comes as much from the beauty of chaotic garden borders as from vases overflowing with blooms. Infused with movement and light, her works offer a joyful and evocative connection to the natural world. Using a variety of mark-making, brushstrokes, and layering, each painting gives a sense of serenity and well-being. For Hilary, flowers represent joy and a deep connection to nature and the seasons.

For Madeleine Pires, flowers bloom not only on canvas but also in communities.
Continuing to brighten Kirkdale and Bootle with her nature-themed art, most notably the Flower Streets murals, she believes her purpose in life is to encourage and uplift people through her art. Here, her work combines realistic and semi-abstract techniques, with some pieces beginning as designs for murals and bollards or incorporating community poetry. Whether through a thousand shades of green in dappled foliage, or bright flowers with sinuous shapes, her work embodies vitality and the spiritual resonance that has become her signature style.

All artworks are for sale.
