on Wednesday 5th June 2024 from 3pm at St George's Hall

dot-art Schools Exhibition Preview

at the Walker Art Gallery from 4.15pm

The prize giving ceremony will be held in the magnificent Concert Room in St George's Hall. The ceremony will include presentations of certificates and prizes by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool to the top three shortlisted students and vote winners exhibiting from each school. Our Guest Judge, Susan M Coles (past president of the National Society for Education in Art & Design) will then announce the overall winner and runners up for the 12th annual dot-art Schools competition.

Following the formal presentations the students, teachers and families will be invited to view the winners exhibition across the road at the Walker Art Gallery. The 12th annual dot-art Schools Exhibition 2024 features winning artworks by talented Year 5 and Year 9 students from over 90 schools across the Liverpool City region.

Students should wear their school uniform please.

Details

Please arrive at 3pm for tea, coffee and soft drinks in the North Hall.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3.30pm.

Please arrive at the hall's North entrance situated on William Brown Street (near Steble Fountain and facing Walker Art Gallery), for the ceremony in the Concert Room. There is no onsite parking available for guests, there are a number of car parks in close proximity to St George’s Hall. The closest are:

Filming & Photography

We will be filming and taking photographs at this event for promotional use in print and online. Please notify staff on arrival if you do not wish your child to be photographed.

Photographs taken at the event will be available to view and download online before the end of term. The weblink will be shared with your school's teacher as soon as we can.
