Event Details

The webinar will present the findings of our project exploring planning policies relevant to double glazing in historic properties across Scotland. In particular, installing slimline double glazing in listed buildings.

The project explored the glazing options available to historic building property owners in different local authority areas in Scotland. The customer journey to installation was also explored and the Scottish Government’s ISM (Individual, Social and Material) behaviour change model was used to consider what would be required to get more double glazing installed.

During the webinar Alex Hilliam, Changeworks Senior Researcher, will present findings from desk research and a workshop in Edinburgh that explored perspectives from owners, installers, planning officers and other stakeholders. Insights on this topic from other local authority areas will also be shared.

The work will be discussed via small live panel and webinar Q&A.

This webinar will be of interest to planners, owners of and those with an interest in historic buildings, representatives of the glass and glazing industry and anyone involved in household energy efficiency (particularly glazing improvements).

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
