Learn how visual impairments amongst the South Asian community be prevented - & what we can do to support individuals with sight loss

About this Event

Association of Blind Asians (ABA) is a registered charity based in Leeds. Every year ABA helps South Asians with visual impairments, along with their carers to both prevent and manage their condition so they can live independently and fulfilling lives.

This national conference has been organised by ABA to to celebrate 30 years of crucial support and care in the community. This conference will be of interest to any professional working or supporting individuals with visual impairments from BME community. Individuals with visual impairments, along with family members, friends or carers will also find this event to be of interest.

Attendees can expect to leave the event:

-learn how to effectively support individuals with sight loss.
