AJ Silver

AJ (they/them)is the Author of Supporting Queer Birth and founder of the Queer Birth Club.

AJ brings together the stories of members of the LGBTQ+ community; adding and amplifying the voices of the often overlooked minorities in the birthing world. They have worked in the birth and baby world for almost a decade, and they're an expert in their field in the UK.

Rose Matthews

Rose (they/them) is a white, non-binary Autistic autism researcher and Autistic rights activist who realised they were Autistic in 2018, aged 58. Rose is involved in research studies which are directly relevant to the lives of neurodivergent people, and which involve them as partners in the research process. Rose worked with Claire on the Autistic Loving project.

Claire Bates

Claire (she/her) is the Leader of the National Supported Loving Network who support best practice surrounding sexuality and intimate relationships within social care. Claire is also an active researcher in the field of sexuality and disability. Claire worked with rose on the Autistic Loving project.

Katie Munday

Katie (they/them) is a community researcher and consultant demystifying neurodivergent experiences. Find out more abour Katie and their work here.

Kate Boot

Kate (she/her) is a white, autistic ADHD speech and language therapist and sensory integration practitioner, working with autistic and other neurodivergent individuals.

Alongside May, she co-chairs the Neurodiversity-affirming Clinical Excellence Network for SLT’s and is co-chair of the UK SLT Pride Network. You can get in touch with Kate via www.kateboot.com.

May Lam
May (they/them) is a non-binary, ADHD speech and language therapist, with a number of co-occuring neurodivergent traits, working in a specialist SEMH education setting. Alongside Kate, they co-chair of the Neurodiversity-affirming Clinical Excellence Network for SLTs.
