Dr Gores Spooky Mad Lab

Things are starting to get spooky at the Royal Gunpowder Mills as Dr Gore moves in to creep up the Mad Lab with Half Term Horrors DAILY between October 21st and October 29th

In a week full of ghoulish and ghastly activities - Dr Gore and team have some great creations up their sleeves which they want you to try! Discover all things green and gooey at the Slime Station, find your inner wizard and help make colourful potions for secret purpose.

Dr Gore has daily science shows at 11.40 , 1.40 and 3.40 where there is much madness in store! - Fun and interactive for all the family!

There’s opportunity to design and make in the “Spooky Spinks” where you can make your very own miniature broomstick and design a witches hat - plus get in the Halloween mood in our dress up area and take a selfie at our Spooky Selfie Station and Rocket Making!

The Royal Gunpowder Mills is an all day , all weather venue. Children of all ages can enjoy our great activities designed to get them thinking and learning! Also included in the price of your ticket are our exhibitions , theatre and acclaimed Armoury plus great play space.

Dr Gore’s Spooky Mad Lab takes place DAILY between October 21st and October 29. Tickets start at £8.50 for children and there’s also some great family ticket deals to choose from. Doors open at 10am. Last Entry 3pm.

All activities during Dr Gore's Spooky Mad Lab are timed. Our Science Shows take place at 11.40 , 1.40 and 3.40 with the 3.40 show being a repeat of the 11.40 show.Family Activities taking place in The Mad Lab operates at all times excluding science shows. Witch Hat Making takes place All Dayexcluding 12.00 - 12.30. Mini Broomstick Making and Rocket Making run as sessions which will take place between 10.00 - 4.45 - Check Day Map & Timetable for timed sessions running on the day of your visit.

Please note due to popularity we are currently unable to run Night Vision we have replaced this activity with Rocket Making & Launching. All our activities and science shows are offered on a first come first serve basis , with our science shows we recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before hand. We ask for your cooperation and hope you enjoy your visit.
