Event description

Description

What are the physics involved in Santa’s annual sleigh ride, and how was Santa accidentally involved in the discovery of the greatest number of exoplanets ever? Australian radio and TV presenter and author Dr Karl Kruszelnicki is back at the Ri for a special night of festive formulae and Christmas questioning. As well as taking us on a tour of some of the more interesting and obscure yuletide science, we will also flip things around for one night, with Dr Karl will be asking you the questions in an interactive quiz at the end. Bring a fully charged smartphone or tablet (and brain), and join us for an evening of festive fun!

Discounted tickets are available to Members of the Ri. Find out more about how to join our community.

The doors will open at approximately 5.30pm, with a prompt start at 6.00pm. There will be time for questions after the talk.

By booking to attend events at the Royal Institution, you confirm that you have read and agree to the Ri's event terms and conditions.
