Event description

Description

Our Drama Classes for children aged 3 to 10 years old will focus on developing the children’s acting, performing and creative storytelling skills in order to improve their confidence, communication and creativity. Drama class Opening Day is opened at St Luke's Community Centre in Islington on 18 February (nearest Station Barbican or Old Street) with the following schedule.

11:15 - 12:00 Drama Session for 3 - 6 years old

12:00 - 13:30 Acting Session for 7 - 10 years old

Location: Dance Studio (Second Floor) at St. Luke's Community Centre, 90 Central Street, EC1V 8AJ

Free Tea/ Coffee to be served for parents.

The children will be encouraged to develop their imagination by taking part in a creative act, analysing the subject, and improvising the lines. Our teaching team will help them to break through the wall of reality, playing in a role which is drawn from their own experience or from their imaginations. The plays will be inspired by legends, mythical characters, fairy tales, or Shakespeare's works. At the end of the programme, there will be a performance for your children to display their skills and talents on a real stage.
