Drama for Elders (65+) at Mayfair Library with Industry Professional.

Join Andre Pink, Dende Collective's founder and artistic director for this incredible free opportunity!

Sessions start with a check in chat followed by a gentle physical warm up and games sitting in a circle. This is followed by a restorative tea and biscuits break.

Then the group will be introduced to improvisation and vasic drama skills, such as mime, character and improv.

There might be a showcase on the last day of the term but this depends on the will of those taking part. You won't need to take part in an activity unless you want to, and we can always find adaptations that suit all.

The sessions are drop-in so you can join whenever works for you. Open to all and no experience needed!

You will be welcomed to the beautiful Mayfair Library Rooms overlooking Mount Street Gardens, the perfect setting to unwind and socialise.

N B: We regret to inform you that the library does not have a wheelchair access. There are four steps to the entrance door and a staircase with handrail to the first floor room where the sessions are hosted. However, accessible toiletts are located on the same floor. See photo below.

Andre Pink is a theatre practitioner with more than 20 years of experience making theatre and facilitating community arts projects. He is Dende Collective’s Artistic Director and has been delivering drama projects to the 60+ regularly in Westminster through the company’s project Dende Elders for the last 7 years.
