About this event

Drama in the classroom at Keystage 2

Thursday 14 & 21 October 2021; 2pm-4pm

Drama games are a great way to help students develop creative minds.

Our first session will explore various games that will enable pupils to develop their collaborative skills, imagination, inquisitiveness, perseverance, and discipline. All games game will be targeted towards the creative habits, giving the teacher the opportunity to observe the pupils responses.

In our second session we will move on to explore Body voice and Free play. Each session will act as a guide, allowing the teachers to find their feet and think through what will work for them. There will be time for reflection and discussion.

The sessions follow on from each other so teachers need to attend both.

This course will be run by Kerrie Reading

A Zoom link will be shared to all signed up to the course closer to the date.

Drama yn yr ystafell ddosbarth ar allwedd 2

Dydd Iau 14 a 21 Hydref 2021; 2pm-4pm

Mae gemau drama’n ffordd wych o helpu disgyblion i ddatblygu meddwl creadigol.

Bydd ein sesiwn gyntaf yn archwilio gemau amrywiol a fydd yn galluogi disgyblion i ddatblygu eu sgiliau cydweithredol, eu dychymyg, eu chwilfrydedd, eu dyfalbarhad, a’u disgyblaeth. Bydd pob gêm wedi’i thargedu at arferion creadigol, gan roi cyfle i’r athro arsylwi ymatebion y disgyblion. Yn ein hail sesiwn, byddwn ni’n symud ymlaen at archwilio’r corff, y llais, a chwarae rhydd. Bydd pob sesiwn yn gweithredu fel canllaw, gan alluogi’r athrawon i ddysgu’r hanfodion a meddwl ynghylch beth fydd yn gweithio iddyn nhw. Bydd cyfle i fyfyrio a thrafod.

Mae'r ail sesiwn yn dilyn y gyntaf, felly bydd angen i athrawon fynychu'r ddwy.

Cynhelir y cwrs yma gan Kerrie Reading

Bydd dolen Zoom yn cael ei rhannu â phawb sydd wedi cofrestru ar y cwrs yn nes at y dyddiad.
