Presented by young programmer Azmina Akhtar, aged 19
Sessions for friendly young people who have a key skill in understanding theatre and being open to learning new skills.
Every Monday and Friday during July, 12 - 2.30pm, starting on the 4th July
For ages 14 - 17 years old
"My activity is a short drama workshop where young people will be given a role in which they will be working in partners or groups of three to put together a performance piece that will then be made as a live performance for friends and family as an end product to the workshop."
£3 for the whole course. Bursary places are also available. Reserve your place today and pay on the day.
Why has Azmina decided to programme this?
"I as a young person feel that drama is a great way to express who you are and it gives you a chance to be whoever you want to be. It makes you feel empowered. I would love the opportunity to help other young people understand there are other ways out there that they can express their selves in the art of theatre, which is why I've chosen to put together this workshop."
