What materials are provided?

Reference picture, A4 art paper, pencil, rubber, brush pen, marker pens, mount, backing board & clear presentation cover.

Just yourself and your glasses, if you need them!

If I add a book to the ticket, when will I receive it?

Your book will be available on the day. Mel will even add a personalised message, if you wish!

Will there be food & drinks available?

Yes, there will be tea and coffee, plus snacks, free of charge.

Draw A Cat With Mel

Join talented artist @i.am.melc at The Reading Room, Wycombe End, Beaconsfield, Bucks HP9 1ND for a fast & loose ink illustration workshop, where you can unleash your creativity & draw a cat with Mel! She will guide you through the layout, proportions and technique for creating your ink illustration. This workshop is absolutely perfect for beginners, as well as anyone who already draws & wants to try a different medium, style, or just draw along with Mel.

A relaxing, informal & enjoyable way to get creative and perhaps inspire future illustrating projects! No experience necessary. Everything provided, including presentation mount, back & clear bag.

You'll leave with a finished illustration of a fluffy cat ready for a 10" x 12" frame. Don't worry if you're not a pro, this event is all about having a good time and getting creative. So come on down, grab a seat, & let's draw a fluffy cat together!

Children under 10 okay if accompanied by an adult. Otherwise 10+ please.
