Drawing as Magic: Sound ✨
Event Information
About this Event
In this workshop, we’ll be working with Sound!
Drawing is the expression of experience. Magic is the transformation of energy.
We’ll be drawing our experiences and feelings while we use music, podcasts, and sound snippets as our guide. While we pay attention to what we hear, we’ll work on drawing how the music feels, the beats, the words, the way we want to move in relation to it.
Participants are also invited to send suggestions for sounds (music, podcasts, DJ sets, sampling) for use during the workshop, but it is optional.
This will be a relaxed space for us to explore drawing, sound and magic <3 No experience required.
This is a space to let loose and be soft with other folks who want to draw together.
To participate in this workshop you will need: paper, a pencil, a way to access and listen to music/sound, any other art supplies like colour pencils, pens etc. that you would like to bring.
About the workshop leader:
Tee Kundu is an interdisciplinary artist and illustrator. They mostly draw things. In addition, they often work in social practice, performance, zines, facilitation, etc.
They want to be a storyteller, and they want to be helpful. A DIY dabbler, you can find them on instagram @lukitstee.
