About this Event
A workshop to walk and explore the industrial heritage of the Leeds Liverpool Canal, studying shape, space and texture through graphite rubbings.
The workshop will encourage you to see, interact and represent the canal in a new way.
The graphite rubbings will contribute to an immersive artwork piece and will be delivered by artisit and University of Huddersfield lecturer Simon Woolham.
The workshop will take place in the icon Salts Mill, home of David Hockney gallery.
No experience necessary and open to all levels of ability.

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot.
Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .
Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
